Hired through Bttr Hlf Studio I worked on directing and animating the retelling of Queer icon Chavela Vargas. As a Ranchera singer she paved the way for freedom of expression through music in a highly catholic latin America. Using a mix of motion graphics (after effects) and cell animation (photoshop) I was able to depict a nostalgic emotion in order express a life of addiction and romance.
